Have you ever found yourself at Mass saying all the right words, doing all the right things—but still wondering why we do them? Why we stand, sit, kneel… why the prayers sound the way they do? The words, the gestures, the rituals of the Mass are deeply rich in meaning, and yet most of us—even if we’ve been Catholic our whole lives—might be surprised by how rooted the Mass is in Sacred Scripture.
Lent is the Church’s annual invitation to go deeper—to make a more intentional offering of ourselves to the Lord. One powerful way to do that this year is through our parish Lenten Bible Study. Fr. Mike will be leading Dr. Edward Sri’s A Biblical Walk Through the Mass, a fascinating exploration of the extraordinary biblical roots of the Liturgy—what it all means, where it comes from, and why it matters.
When: Mondays in March from 6:00–7:00pm(3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23 & 3/30) Location: Regan Hall Cost: $20 (includes an in-depth workbook, but there is no homework!) Register Here by Noon on Friday, February 20 or until full.
